Quinoa Salad Heavenly Sprouts

Carrot & Lemon Salad

Apple Surprise Salad
Spinach & Sprout Salad Beet and Jicama Delight
Quinoa Salad

Ingredients:

4 cups sprouted Quinoa
2 cucumbers
1 red and 1 yellow bell pepper
2 tomatoes
4 celery stalks
6 scallions
1 cup cilantro, basil or parsley (optional)
2 carrots, grated or shredded
1 small Jicama, grated
4 Tbs. kelp

   
   

Method:

Chop all salad ingredients fine and put into large bowl. Mix dressing (below)
 and add to salad. Mix again. Dressing: 3 large avocados 1 1/2 cups tomatillo juice or sauerkraut juice 4 cloves of garlic pinch of cayenne kelp to taste cilantro, basil or parsley to taste. Serve

Variations/Recommendations

cilantro, basil or parsley is optional

Carrot & Lemon Salad

Ingredients:

2 cups Carrots, Grated
1 1/2 Tbs. Lemon Juice
1 1/2 Tbs. Virgin Olive Oil
2 1/2 Teaspoons Mint, Chopped
2 Teaspoons Parsley, Chopped
1 1/2 Teaspoons Honey
2 Tbs. Raisins 

   
   

Method:

Mix all ingredients and server chilled

Variations/Recommendations

Dates can be substituted for raisins and maple syrup can replace the honey!

Spinach & Sprout Salad

Ingredients:

Spinach, Small Bunch
8 oz. Bean Sprouts,  Fresh
4oz. Jicama, Diced
1oz. Ginger, Grated 
2 teaspoons Tamari
2 teaspoons Sesame Oil 

   
   

Method:

Wash and drain the spinach and bean sprouts carefully. 
Toss all the ingredients together!  

Variations/Recommendations

Chilling the Jicama before preparation adds taste and cooling  texture.

Heavenly Sprouts

Ingredients:

Carrots,2 cups Grated
Alfalfa Sprouts, 1 container
Sunflower Sprouts, 4oz.
Celery, 1 cup Minced
Virgin Olive Oil, 6 Tbs.
Tomato Juice, 5 Tbs.
Lime Juice, 3 Tbs.

   
   

Method:

Mix together the oil and juices for the dressing.
 Toss together vegetables and pour over the salad.   

Variations/Recommendations

Season to taste with Tamari or Bragg's

Apple Surprise Salad

Ingredients:

Spinach, Small Bunch
4oz Sunflower Sprouts, .
1 Apples, Golden Diced
1oz. Ginger, Grated 
Virgin Olive Oil, 6 Tbs.
1 1/2 Teaspoons Honey
3 Tbs. Raisins 

   
   

Method:

Wash Spinach carefully. Blend the ginger, oil, honey and 1 Tbs. of raisins.  Combine the apple and vegetables and pour on the dressing and enjoy!

Variations/Recommendations

Dates can be substituted for raisins and Maple Syrup can replace the honey! 
Also coconut can be added to taste.

Beet and Jicama Delight

Ingredients:

Spinach, Small Bunch
Beets, 2 average size Julienned 
6oz. Jicama, Julienned 
3 Dates, pitted sliced thin
1 Apples, Golden Diced
Virgin Olive Oil, 6 Tbs.
1oz. Ginger, Grated

   
   

Method:

Wash Spinach carefully. Place a bed of spinach in a bowl. Place the beets and Jicama pointing to center of bowl. Add apple and dates for color and texture. Blend the oil and ginger until smooth for dressing.    

Variations/Recommendations

Keep the beets and the Jicama cold to keep them crunchy!
